My Parents Wedding Verse

Congratulations Mum or Dad from the children or even baby/babies.

How lucky do we consider ourselves

to be present with you on this day?

It may be considered a little unusual

but we’re so glad you’ve done it this way!

It means so much to be able to share it

and take the memories of that through our life

The day that our truly wonderful Dad,

takes our beautiful Mum as his Wife!

We're really very lucky

In so very many ways

One bit of luck is being able

To share with you this day.

The memories will be so special.

They will stay will us for life.

The day that our lucky Dad

took our lovely Mum and his wife.

So we wish for you a lifetime

Of lots of love and laughter

For your very own fairy tale

and your own, "Happy ever after."

I'm too young to speak

I manage gurgles and laughter

But I understand from the stories you read me,

this is your Happy ever after.

I will consider myself very lucky

In so very many ways

One bit of luck is however young I was

I shared in your special day.

I am too young to say these words

But these would be the words I'd say,

"I love you both so very much

and I wish you both a fantastic day."

I wish for you a lifetime

of lots of love and laughter

Your very own fairy tale

Your own, "Happy ever after."

I know that I am only small

words yet I cannot speak

My messages to you are usually visual

and sometimes boy! They reek!

So with the help of clever translation

On the day my Mummy and Daddy become Man and Wife

I wish for you a memorable day

and wish for US a happy life.

How many kids have the good fortune to say

That they shared in the memories of their parents Wedding Day?

I/We really cannot find the right words to day

To express how lovely it is to be here today.

The pride and the love I/we will feel in my/our heart/s,

When the music and the ceremony starts.

The feeling I/we will get will be like no other

The moment my/our Dad marries my/our Mother!

Words yet I cannot speak

As I am only small

But I manage the gurgles and giggles

and the occasional BAWL!

But just so you have something from me

To mark your special day

I thought I'd dribble in your card

In my special Wedding way.

The dribble leaves a message

with cuddles and lots of love

Wishing my Mummy and Daddy

the Wedding day they're dreaming of. x

My Mummy and Daddy are getting married

and the two of them, plus me, is three

and the three of us (for now)

make one loving family.

If only I could say the words

These are the words I'd say

I love you both with all my heart

and wish you both a fantastic day.

As memories go, mine won't be much

but I will be able to look back and say

"How lucky I was to be present,

at my Mummy and Daddy's Wedding Day."

My gurgles and my chatter won't quite be understood

But if they could be translated, they'd translate to something good.

On this special day, the day my parents became Man and Wife.

I know that they'll be lots of love and we'll have a happy life.
